Ariyasom is the perfect mix of new and old — centrally located on the happening Sukhumvit Road yet still encompassing a traditional Thai design and feel. The Villa was built in 1942 and is still owned by the original family who envisioned it.
Na Aroon restaurant, located on Ariyasom’s first floor, is a health nut’s heaven, serving up “tasty, organic” food, mostly of the vegetarian variety. Some fresh fish and seafood is included, but they do not serve any meat — steak lovers, this is not a place for you.
After a long day of walking Bangkok’s busy streets, what better way to unwind than with a well earned massage.Ariyasom’s Som Sen Spa offers traditional Thai massage, oil massage, manicures and pedicures.
The property consists of 2 buildings; the main house built in 1942 and the new addition, which took 2 years to build and was finished in late 2008. Both have a homey Thai-Lannaatmosphere and design. There is some minor wear & tear, but overall the property and lush surrounding garden look and feel very inviting.
This quiet heritage hotel is the perfect spot for travelers who want to experience the city as well as sneak in some R&R – Thai style.
